INSURANCE

Crystal Chauffeur is insured for passenger travel, including Public Liability. However, please note that this insurance does not cover Travel or Baggage insurance.

BOOKINGS

  1. Crystal Chauffeur reserves the right to refuse travel to individuals deemed to be a nuisance or danger to our passengers or employees.
  2. Our professional drivers may refuse to collect a passenger who does not comply with any Government guidance or safety procedures, including those related to pandemics or contagious diseases.
  3. Disorderly behavior or abuse towards our drivers or staff will result in refusal of travel, and no compensation or refund will be provided for the pre-paid fare in such circumstances.
  4. Any soiling or damage to our vehicles will be charged in full at main dealer prices.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

  1. Crystal Chauffeur shall not be held responsible for delays caused by adverse weather conditions, accidents, or traffic congestion.
  2. We do not accept responsibility for theft or damage to the properties of the person who made the booking or any other person traveling within the booking, except in cases where such theft or damage is caused by the direct action of Crystal Chauffeur employees.
  3. Crystal Chauffeur is not liable for delays caused by strike action, pandemics, acts of God, or Force Majeure events.

VEHICLE AVAILABILITY

Crystal Chauffeur strives to provide high-quality Executive vehicles for all bookings. However, in case such vehicles are not available, we reserve the right to provide a similar alternative vehicle through sub-contract or sub-hire.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

  1. While we make every effort to ensure a smooth airport transfer, Crystal Chauffeur cannot be held responsible for flight delays, luggage collection, or immigration issues.
  2. A reasonable amount of time is allowed in our scheduling to accommodate such issues.
  3. We reserve the right to sub-contract any work we are unable to fulfill. In extreme circumstances, if we are unable to fulfill our obligations or sub-contract, a full refund for the affected part of the journey will be provided.

WAITING TIME

  1. The first 10 minutes of waiting time is included in our charges.
  2. For collections from Manchester International Airport (Ringway) and all other UK Airports, 60 minutes of waiting time is included.
  3. Additional waiting time beyond the allocated period will be charged at a rate of 50p per minute, which will be charged to the card used for the booking after the completion of the journey.

ALTERATIONS

  1. Minor itinerary adjustments are allowed free of charge at the discretion of Crystal Chauffeur.
  2. Charges for non-minor changes will be communicated accordingly.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

  1. If a booking is cancelled by the Customer more than 24 hours before the start of the period of hire, all monies paid will be eligible for a refund.
  2. If a booking is cancelled by the Customer less than 24 hours but more than 12 hours from the start of the period of hire, 50% of all monies paid will be non-refundable.
  3. If a booking is cancelled by the Customer less than 12 hours from the start of the period of hire, 100% of all monies paid will be non-refundable.
  4. For wedding bookings, if the cancellation occurs 30 days before the start of the period of hire, the deposit will be non-refundable.
  5. In the case of multiple vehicle bookings, if the cancellation is made by the Customer within 7 days before the start of the period of hire, 100% of all monies paid will be non-refundable.
  6. If the customer fails to appear at the designated pickup point and time, all monies paid will be non-refundable.
  7. Cancellations must be made by email to contact@crystalchauffeur.co.uk.
  8. Please ensure that you receive a confirmation email from us to acknowledge the cancellation.

AMENDMENTS

All amendments must be made by email to contact@crystalchauffeur.co.uk. No amendments are allowed to be made through the driver to ensure insurance coverage.
